The National Museum of Psychology and the Institute for Human Science and Culture galleries will be open during the lunch break. Admission will be free for OPA participants but donations are encouraged.
Free parking is available in a small lot adjacent to the building. Visitors can also park in Lot 30 at the corner of Market and Mill streets. Metered parking is available along South College Street, but it is not recommended since they are owned by the City of Akron.
ACCESSIBILITY
A wheelchair accessible ramp is located on the northeast side of the building, near the main entrance. The museum of psychology is housed on the ground floor, and an interior elevator provides access to the Institute galleries, located on the fourth floor. A wheelchair is also kept on-site and is available for loan to those visiting the museum and archives.

REGISTRATION
Registration will start at 9:00 am in the atrium on the 3rd floor of the Cummings Center. There will be coffee pods to make coffee. Please bring your travel mugs to reduce waste.
HOTELS
We have procured conference rates at two hotels:
Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Akron. The the last day to book is Wednesday, April 20, 2022. If you are having any issues, ask for Cindy Sherman, Director of Sales.
Baymont Inn & Suites/ Super 8 on Highway 21 west of downtown. Call 330-666-5050 and ask for the OPA rate. If you are having any issues, ask for Jamie Burton, Director of Sales.
